About the Journal

JBSI (Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra Inggris) is an open-accessed and peer-reviewed journal published by Yayasan Almusthofa Cendikia Nusantara. The journal has the focus and scope on the publication of articles related to English language, literature, linguistics, and English Language Teaching (ELT), whether as a second, additional, or foreign language, or as an international Lingua Franca.

The journal links the everyday concerns of researchers, educators, and practitioners with insights gained from relevant academic disciplines such as applied linguistics, education, psychology, and cultural studies to enhance quality and to innovate methodologies in English language and literature studies.

The JBSI aims to foster the dissemination of scientific information in the fields of English language, linguistics, literature, and English Language Teaching. Articles published in JBSI encompass a broad range of research and scholarly papers related to teaching, analyzing, and exploring English language and literature. This journal is published three times a year (October, January, and May).

The journal provides research and papers to increase awareness, consideration, and analysis of issues in English Language and Literature, and also promotes the interchange of ideas and comparative studies in this field.

Submit your manuscripts today (in English or Indonesian) through our online system. Authors should refer to the Author Guidelines in preparing the manuscript and attach the plagiarism test result as a "Supplementary File" when submitting. Authors are also encouraged to use citation manager software such as Mendeley, Zotero, or other software in writing the manuscript.
